Hello Jacqueline! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!
How exciting to hear about your upcoming trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! You must be really getting packed and ready now since it's coming so soon! There are so many special things to see and do while you are visiting. Make sure to take time to visit the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival while you're here. I'm sure you're going to love the perfectly pruned topiaries scattered around the Park as well as all the
delicious treats that are available for a limited time during the festival!
My family and I recently stayed at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort in a Little Mermaid Standard Room and my children have been asking to go back ever since! Even though this Resort is considered a Value Resort, it has so many amenities that put it just a cut above the rest! One of the reasons we love this Resort is because of the easy access it has to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios being right on the
Disney Skyliner line.
You will find that Walt Disney World Resort is exceptional when it comes to
services for all of its Guests, including those with disabilities. When it comes to
Disney transportation, you're in luck. Guests are able to board both the Disney Skyliner and Disney busses while remaining in their wheelchair or ECV. On the Skyliner, you'll be able to access a gondola and drive right on with other members of your party right behind.
Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are also accessible for your electric wheelchair. If fact, you'll find that the entire Resort hotel is wheelchair accessible. With each building having its own set of elevators you'll be able to get wherever you need to go with ease, and Cast Members are always happy to point you in the right direction. You'll even find a zero-entry pool at the Finding Nemo-themed "Big Blue Pool" as well as other pools with pool lifts if that is something you are interested in!
I hope you find it easy to access every part of the magic during your stay at Walt Disney World Resort. Enjoy!
