We are staying at the Art of Animation Resort in June. The second day we are there we have a reservation at 1900 Park Fare at 7:30am. I am concerned about taking bus to MK and then monorail to the Grand Floridian. We have a total of 8 people in our party.

    Hi Ranae,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always delighted to greet a fellow North Carolinian!

Given the early time of your breakfast reservation, I would suggest that you use a service like Uber or call a taxi company. When we visit, we use Uber to get to some of our early morning breakfast reservations. We have used taxis in the past as well, but those have been more expensive. There is a Minnie Van™ Service but it currently does not pick-up at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. In the future, they may add locations, so check the website periodically before your visit.

I always suggest that larger parties allot at least 15 extra minutes to get from place to place. Given the size of your group, therefore, I would leave the resort by 6:45 a.m. When we have traveled with larger groups, it has been more difficult to keep everyone on time. I always pack my patience when traveling with extended family and friends!

Ranae, 1900 Park Fare is just delightful for breakfast. On our last visit, the Mad Hatter was in rare form. Make sure you have an exit plan - know what transportation method you will need to use to get to your next location. If you have not done so already, download the My Disney Experience Mobile App. The app has a nice Get Directions feature that will display estimated transit times and transit options between locations.

    Happy Planning!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
