Staying at the Art of Animation resort in June. Checking out on Saturday, but our flight doesn't leave until 7:30 p.m. Would like to swim that day, but not sure if there are any public showers where we could clean up before our flight home. Thoughts?

Hey there, Gloria! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I’m so excited to learn you will be staying at my favorite resort on property, Disney’s Art of Animation! With the larger-than-life and down-to-the-smallest-detail theming inspired by some of my favorite Disney and Pixar movies, it’s my family’s go-to when we vacation at Disney. We just love all the magic, and great benefits, that come with a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!

Gloria, I have great news for you! You will find very convenient facilities for you and your family to be able to shower and change after enjoying the largest pool in all Walt Disney World, the Big Blue Pool, inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Want to impress your kids? Have them immerse themselves in the pool and listen to the magic happening underwater! With underwater speakers, this fun recreation area is full of Disney magic! If you need additional towels, be sure to request those at the front desk. You’ll be able to drop those off before you leave right by the pool area.

One of my favorite things to do when we stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is rent a surrey bike and ride around the resort, over the bridge, and explore the neighbor resort, Disney’s Pop Century! The kids love helping us pedal as we explore the sights and make fun memories together. Be sure to learn about all the fun resort recreation and activities available at AoA that you can enjoy during your stay!

I hope you have a magical time! Say hi to Prince Eric for me!
