We will be staying at the Art of Animation Resort Feb 5-9. Will it be warm enough to swim and are there life jackets provided?

    Hi Marcia!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Park Moms Panel with your question!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner - you must be spilling over with excitement! There's nothing more fun than counting down the days until you visit the Most Magical Place on Earth.

First off, you're going to LOVE staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. I've personally stayed there three times and loved it more each time! The giant likenesses of favorite Disney characters from The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars are spread throughout this amazingly themed resort. You'll feel immersed in the movies from the moment you arrive!

The weather forecast for your vacation dates predicts highs in the mid-seventies and nighttime lows in the fifties. While that's a bit cool for a swim (I'm speaking for myself, some would consider this warm!), you'll be happy to know that the pools are heated for guests to enjoy. Make sure to check out the Big Blue Pool - the largest on Walt Disney World property! While you swim, make sure to perk up your ears when you go under the surface - yes, those are Disney tunes you hear! The Big Blue Pool's underwater speakers are a first for a Disney Resort Hotel.

Complimentary life jackets in various sizes are available at all Walt Disney World Resort pools. If you need help locating them, simply ask a Cast Member. They'll be happy to help!

I hope this helps with your packing and planning! Hope you have a wonderful vacation - Diane W.
