We are going to staying at the Art of Animation resort and have 2 breakfasts in the parks before the parks open at 8:00. How early do I need to leave the hotel on the Disney Transportation? And how do you get into the park early for breakfast?

    Angela,

What a treat! One of my favorite things to do is see the parks prior to park opening when they are virtually empty. Be sure to make a quick stop to take a few snapshots of either Cinderella's Castle or other park landmarks without all the people around.

To answer your question, there is a special bus for resort guests that are dining prior to park openings. When you check-in or the evening before your breakfast, check with the front desk and ask what time specifically the "character breakfast buses" depart from your hotel and where exactly you catch this bus.

Once you arrive at the park, look for the specially marked entrance for guests with advanced dining reservations for character breakfasts. If you are unsure or can't find this, feel free to ask a cast member. In the past, I remember the lines for the character breakfast entrance to be either to the far right or far left. Make sure you have your confirmation number handy as they will probably ask for this. Once you enter the park, you will make your way to your restaurant. As I mentioned before, this is a great chance to snap a quick photo in the almost barren park streets!

Enjoy your breakfast and don't forget those autograph books!
