We are staying at Art of Animation and we have 7am reservations at Chef Mickeys. Was wondering the best way to get to the Contempary for Art of Animation. We are traveling with a 21 month old. Thanks

    Hi Yvette!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth so soon with your very own Mouseketeer! My three-year-old loves Chef Mickey's, and my mom is still dreaming of the guava breakfast pastry. Pro Tip: Bring your camera to the dessert station as set up is both beautiful, but also there is a place to show off your pancake and waffle creations complete with it's own hashtag!

Disney's complimentary resort transportation typically starts about an hour before each Disney Theme Park opens, so for this reservation your best bet would be to hire a ride over to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Taxis usually hang out right outside the main entrance of each Disney Resort Hotel in the wee early morning hours to help guests get around. However, most cabs do not have car seats.

Luckily, Walt Disney World Resort has come up with a hired ride solution that includes the use of two Car Seats per ride, which is the Minnie Van Service. Minnie Vans are ordered through the Lyft App on your phone, but every single car is owned and maintained by Disney and the drivers are all highly trained Cast Members. This would be what I would choose for my own family, and actually I've had nothing but pleasant experiences in these vehicles. I would estimate that you could order your Minnie Van between 6:00 and 6:15 A.M. and still have plenty of time to make it to your meal.

I hope this helped, Yvette, and We'll See You Real Soon!
