    We are going to be staying at Art of Animation. We are going to have reservations at Chef Mickey's. What is the best way to get there? Would it be best to take our own vehicle or Disney Transportation?

    Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. What a wonderful day you have planned! Disney's Art of Animation Resort is such a fun resort, celebrating animation with colorful and large decor. Chef Mickey's is also a joyful experience, meeting Mickey Mouse and his friends in their chef gear in a rollicking atmosphere.

    Chef Mickey's is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. You could take a bus from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Magic Kingdom, and then walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The walk is quick, only about 10 minutes, so this would not be hard. You could also take the monorail or boat from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    For the quickest mode of travel, your car would be the best bet. You can drive right from your resort to Disney's Contemporary Resort and let the cast member at the security booth as you enter the parking lot know that you are there to dine at Chef Mickey's.
