Andrea, welcome to planDisney! I feel you, and I hear you! We all need sleep to make the most of our time at Walt Disney World.
Typically, when you wish to request something for your room, you can call your
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations desk to speak with a Cast Member. Unfortunately, I have never found larger box fans available at Disney Resort hotels. I believe there are rental companies that will deliver fans to you for your stay. You can try conducting an internet search for this service.
Having been in your (noisy) boat a few times, I can suggest a couple of alternatives just in case renting a fan isn't viable. First, there are lots of free apps available that will play white noise through the night on your phone - fan noise included! (I'm a fan of rain sounds). Second, invest in some decent earplugs before you leave. I've generally found using both a winning combo!
I'm sending all my pixie dust your way to ensure peaceful nights of sleep throughout your stay at Walt Disney World. Hopefully, you can rest 'Sleepy and Dopey' style to wake up 'Happy' and start your day singing like Snow White ready to roll on
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!
You've made a fabulous resort choice in
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Andrea! From the larger-than-life resort theming to the initial sketches of famous films found in the lobby, you're set for a truly immersive Disney experience. Have the best time!
