staying at art of animation my question is we want to be able to go to the park on the 16th first thing that morning but check in isn’t until 3pm can we check in at our resort that morning even though rooms won’t be ready and then take busses to park

    Hi William!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm so happy to help you with your plans. You have planned the start of your vacation just like I often plan mine. I like to get as much time enjoying the theme parks as possible, so we often arrive at Walt Disney World Resort first thing in the morning. In fact, since we are flying from Colorado, we have even taken the red eye flight to Orlando several times which means we arrive at our Disney Resort hotel by 7:00 a.m.

Even though your official check-in time is at 3:00 p.m., you will be able to get your vacation started as soon as you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, which can be first thing in the morning! You can either complete Online Check-In prior to your arrival or head to your Disney Resort hotel front desk when you arrive to check-in. Bell Services will be able to check your luggage for you so you don't have to worry about carrying it or storing it while you are in the theme parks. From there, you are free to head to head to your theme park of choice using complimentary resort transportation. When you room is ready, you will receive a text message notification, if you set it up during your check-in. Then once you are done playing in the theme parks you can head straight to your hotel room!

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App to use during your vacation as it's my favorite way to manage and organize my vacation plans! Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue your vacation countdown. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
