Hi Tricia,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. November is a truly magical time to visit Walt Disney World; the parks and resorts are decked out in their holiday best, the weather is usually perfect, and there is just a little extra holiday pixie dust in the air. I’m planning to be there this November and cannot wait!
I just returned from a fabulous Walt Disney World vacation, where we stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. We used the
Disney Dining Plan and really, really loved it. Based on my experience at the Landscape of Flavors food court, I can confirm that Guests aged 21 and older will be able to select a single-serving alcoholic beverage with their Quick-Service meals. The beverage case held a variety of single-serving beer, wine, and – my personal favorite – cute little bottled cocktails (I enjoyed the margarita more than once).
I am loving the expanded beverage options on the 2018 Disney Dining Plan. In addition to alcoholic beverages, Landscape of Flavors had a great selection of included smoothies and coffee beverages. Because I tend to,
ahem, overindulge while in my happy place, it was nice to be able to add a green smoothie to my breakfast to feel like I was getting some vegetables with my Mickey-shaped treats (I mean, the pineapple in a Dole Whip makes it a health food, right?).
Tricia, enjoy your November vacation, and keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about holiday events and food offerings. I consider a stop at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the phenomenal life-sized gingerbread house a must-do, and you can even purchase a little of the delicious gingerbread to take home with you!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
