Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. I'm always so impressed by how creative Disney Guests are, and I love walking through the resorts with exterior rooms to see how people have put their special brand of pixie dust on their rooms. I’m sure the added benefit of being able to find your room quickly is a huge plus, too! Unfortunately, Stacey Disney does not permit decorating the doors in any of their resort hotel rooms. The doors aren't magnetic like they are on Disney Cruise Line, so this rule helps prevent damage. Currently, you can only decorate your windows, which is perfect if you get an exterior-facing room.
I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, Stacey, but since you mentioned you are celebrating a birthday, do you mind if I share a quick tip?
Magical Floral and Gifts is a perfect way to add a little birthday magic without needing to pack decorations (or in addition to them). You can get balloon bouquets, snack baskets, Disney plushies, and so much more. Add some little strands of twinkly lights for a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday.
