Hi Priscila,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up in just a few months, and I’m so excited to hear you’ll be flippin’ your fins with Ariel and her friends at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. My family had a
fin-tastic stay there last spring, and we loved finding all the Disney details in our The Little Mermaid Standard Room, as well as all around this gorgeous resort, where your favorite stories come alive. It’s magical!
I’m happy to report that yes,
The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms do feature mini refrigerators, though they do not have freezer compartments. If you’re hoping to have ice for a cooler, you’re in luck – be sure to pack some resealable plastic bags, and then you can fill those with ice from the ice machines and place in your cooler. Don’t forget to check the
Park Rules to ensure your cooler is an allowable size.
Priscila, I hope life is the bubbles for you and your family this
autumn at Walt Disney World Resort! Over on the
Disney Parks Blog, my fellow Panelists and I shared our
favorite tips for visiting in the fall – I love the Mickey pumpkins in Magic Kingdom Park and the spooky fun in the air during
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Plus, if you love to try new food and drink, a visit to the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a must. There’s so much to see and do!
Now, more than ever, it’s a fantastic time to visit, with so many great new attractions and experiences around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Please come back and see us if we can help with any more questions as you count down the days and do your planning and Disney dreaming.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
