I am staying at Art of Animation on Jan 25-27. I know the skyliner will be closed - at least in parts - during that time. Will I be able to use it to get to and from Epcot and/ or Hollywood Studios during that time?

Hi Carlye! Thanks so much for visiting us again at planDisney with another question! I'm so happy to see that you have a vacation planned in just 10 days! Yay!!!

If this is your first time staying at Disney's Art of Animation, you are going to love this fun resort! Disney Skyliner is my favorite type of resort transportation to use and you are correct that there is a scheduled refurbishment during your stay. From January 23 through January 28, Disney Skyliner service between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and EPCOT will not be available due to refurbishment. Because of the ECPOT route closure, you will need to take a bus instead, which is included as part of the complimentary transportation you receive as a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel guest. I have been able to confirm that the closure will only impact travel to EPCOT and you will be able to use Disney Skyliner to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios. You will take the Skyliner to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort where you will change vehicles and take the route to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Because you are planning to visit EPCOT, I thought I would mention that your visit happens to align with the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! I love the festivals for the amazing food and drinks you will find at the food studios around World Showcase.

Wishing you a vacation full of magical memories while at Walt Disney World Resort during The World's Most Magical Celebration!

    Smiles,
    Lisa
