Hi Moms, we are staying at the Art of Animation. I'm trying to figure out transportation times in the morning and afternoon to Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Chef Mickey breakfast and 1900 Park Faire Dinner. Don't want to miss out by misjudging times.

    Hi Emily!

Wow, you must be so excited to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort on your next Walt Disney World vacation!  I will give you the approximate travel times once you are on the Disney bus from the Art of Animation Resort to each park. Keep in mind that it will depend on how long you have to wait for a bus to arrive so you will have to add the wait time for the bus to the travel time (typically, buses come approximately every 20 minutes).

From the Art of Animation Resort to:

    Magic Kingdom--25 to 30 minutes
    Epcot--10 to 15 minutes
    Hollywood Studios--5 to 10 minutes
    Animal Kingdom--15 to 20 minutes
    Downtown Disney--15 to 20 minutes

For Chef Mickey's, you will have to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then the Resort Monorail or walk to the Contemporary Resort, so I would add another 15 to 20 minutes on to the 25 to 30 minutes that it takes to get to the Magic Kingdom by bus just to be safe.  For 1900 Park Fare, you will have to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then the Resort Monorail or a boat to the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, so I would add another 20 to 25 minutes on to the 25 to 30 minutes that it takes to get to the Magic Kingdom by bus to be sure that you get to your Advanced Dining Reservation in time.

I hope that you have a magical stay at the Art of Animation Resort on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
