Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!
Hooray for a dazzling and magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for the Fourth of July holiday! If there is ever a place that does fireworks
right, it is the Walt Disney World Resort. No matter how many times I’ve seen one of the nighttime spectacular firework shows, they never cease to amaze me!
Lisa, although Disney’s Art of Animation is my family’s favorite resort hotel, if you can swing the upgrade to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, I say do it! Especially if you wish to have the most amazing view of Magic Kingdom’s “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky”. Outside of the parks, there are limited areas where you will get a good view of the Fireworks. And unfortunately, Disney’s Art of Animation is not one of them. This resort is not in close proximity to have a view of the show. But at the Poly, not only will you get to watch them, they even pipe in the music so you can enjoy them from the beach. It’s so much fun! I especially love grabbing a DOLE WHIP® swirl from the
Pineapple Lanai, then heading down to the beach to enjoy the show with my tasty treat. It’s a perfect evening, if you ask me!
One last pro-tip! Make a reservation at
‘Ohana around the time when the fireworks are scheduled and ask for a table close to the windows. I bet that will be a dinner you won’t forget! You can make your
Advanced Dining Reservations as early as days before. Do don't delay. Availability is limited!
I hope this information was helpful! Please come back and see us again soon,
