We are staying at the art f animation the first of February with a 2,4,7 year old. I am still a little washy on staying at the cabins and doing the play stay and dine package. I really feel like the kids will like the resort but it would be neat at cabin.

    Hi, Amanda!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question!

I'm excited that you've got an upcoming vacation at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in February! You're kiddos are not going to believe their eyes when you walk into the Resort and see the larger than life Characters from some of their very favorite Disney movies! I have never seen anything like it and when I walked out and saw The Big Blue Pool for the first time, I just knew that it was really a special place! In fact, I once spent an entire day just walking through and taking photos of each of the four different sections because the attention to detail is truly awesome!

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are quite unique and equally amazing, but in a completely different way. They comfortably sleep 6 adults and have a fully equipped kitchen! There is also a charcoal grill out on the private patio, making it really nice if you want to save some money by cooking at "home" instead of eating out at a restaurant. The woodsy location of these cabins is pretty awesome and sort-of gives you the feel of "roughing it" Disney-style! Housekeeping will even do your dishes for you! It's also awesome if you're able to bring bicycles and cycle around the great trails around the property! I recommend renting a golf cart! :)

Now, I'm not sure that I've helped you with making your decision, but I always love to have a reason to book another trip! My family always enjoys trying a new Resort hotel on each one of our vacations!

Please come back and let us know if we can help with any other questions you have!

Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
