Hey there, Noel! I always love seeing a fellow North Carolinian stop by
planDisney with questions. Waving hello from somewhere in the state!
Disney's Art of Animation is such a great resort! I think you'll really enjoy staying there, Noel. Be sure to have your camera handy as you are out and about walking around, there are some really great photo spots throughout the resort.
Inside the room, Noel, you'll find a mini-refrigerator for you to use during your stay. The mini-fridge will be turned on and cold. There won't be anything inside of it so you are more than welcome to bring some items with you to enjoy during your stay. Bottled water and sodas are what I primarily bring with me but it can be great to throw in a few snacks to have as well.
One thing I wanted to mention is that you can get complimentary ice water throughout the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. So while I like to have some in my room, I don't necessarily pack them in my backpack anymore. Carrying around bottled water can get really heavy throughout the day and it isn't necessary. When you need some water, you can head to any
quick-service dining location or snack cart that has fountain beverages and ask for a cup of ice water. The Cast Members working will be more than happy to get one or two or even three for you. Sometimes, on hot days, they'll even have a stack of premade ice waters for a quick grab and go. It's really great and I encourage you to take advantage of this while you are there.
I hope this helps, Noel. If you have other questions before your trip in a few weeks, please feel free to pop back on over and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Have fun!
Jackie H.
