Welcome to planDisney, Ashlyn! I am happy to meet another Georgian planning my favorite vacation of all: Disney on land and at sea. Looking for a magic carpet to take you wonder by wonder? Glad you came to planDisney to ask.
For your stay at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, there are a few
transportation options to carry you from the airport to the worlds of Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. My preference is using rideshare. They just seem to be the most convenient with unpredictability in flight arrival times and baggage claim, and I like going straight to the resort without any other stops. I'm all for what gets me to the pools, campfires, Movies Under the Stars, and, of course, the parks as quickly as possible.
When it's time to head to the endless diamond sky that surrounds you on
Disney Cruise Line, you can get swept away with Disney
ground transportation. Coming from
Walt Disney World Resort, this option keeps you in that glorious Disney bubble without interruption. You can easily add this magic carpet ride to the port - and from the port back to Orlando International Airport - to your reservation by calling Disney Cruise Line. One of the best parts of using Disney transportation: you put your cruise luggage tags on your bags before dropping them off as you board your motorcoach, and they magically appear by your cruise stateroom door on board the ship. They make it so easy for you!
With your cruise check-in date just around the corner, I'd recommend calling soon. For online check-in, you will need photos of your
travel documents and stateroom travel party (each person shoulders up, facing forward); credit card information for onboard charges; and your ground transportation information.
I hope your cruise is shining, shimmering, splendid! And please come back to
planDisney with any other questions about your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth and aboard the most magical ship at sea.
Bon Voyage!
