We are staying at Art of Animation Dec. 12-16. My daughter is very interested in taking an art class when we are there. When are they offered, and do we need reservations? Also, if she attends more than one session will she work on different projects?

    Hi Melissa!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love that Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers the Teach To Draw classes.  For October, they are scheduled in the Children's Playroom (next to the front desk) at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m.  You should definitely ask upon check-in for a December schedule.  It will also be listed on the Recreation Calendar you get when you arrive.

Reservations are not required for the class.  You should probably ask at her first session what the following sessions will draw.  Character plans aren't published in advance, but the Cast Members may know the plans for your week, and can let you know when she should come back for a new drawing.

Be sure to turn in her work to the Front Desk so she can be considered for "Sketch Artist of the Day".  One is chosen and unveiled in the lobby daily at 6 p.m.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
