We are staying at the Art of Animation but would like to take the boat to Disney Springs. Can anybody park at and take a boat from Old Key West, or do you have to be staying at that resort to do so? Thanks!!

Thanks for stopping at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea!

Our family recently stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and we enjoyed taking the boat from the resort to Disney Springs. Parking at Walt Disney World Resort hotels is limited to Guests staying at that hotel or Guests who have a dining reservation at the hotel. However, your family can still enjoy a boat ride at Disney Springs! You can park at the brand new parking garage at Disney Springs which is located in the West Side area. Then a boat can be used to travel to the other neighborhoods, the Landing and Marketplace. You could also use boat transportation to explore one of the Disney Springs resort hotels. Take a trip to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to enjoy Yehaa Bob at River Roost or to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to sample some of their famous beignets all using the convenient water transportation.

One other option is to take a ride in the Amphicars at The BOATHOUSE Restaurant. On this ride, you will be able to enjoy a trip on the water in a rare vintage boat! You can charter your ride at the stand located just outside the restaurant. This ride is a splurge, but truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
