Staying at the Art of Anim. resort 3N. / 4D. After that I will be attending a conference for another 3N/ 4D at the Swan and Dolphin Resort. Should we stay or extend our stay at the Art of Animation or move to the S&D? (1.5/2.5 yr olds) Transpiration ea

    Hi Timothy,

While I typically vote in favor of staying at a Disney-owned and operated resort, if your conference is actually being held at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, you may want to stay there during your conference dates.  There is no direct bus running between Disney's Art of Animation and the Swan and Dolphin.  You'd either have to pay for a cab or take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then transfer to a friendship boat at the front of that theme park.  The friendship boats will drop you directly at the Swan and Dolphin but the whole trek from your home resort to the conference could easily take one hour each way.  (The cab would be quicker, but not free.)

It's going to be very difficult to tear your kids away from the amazing pools, decor, and fun at Disney's Art of Animation Resort but staying at the Swan and Dolphin will be incredibly convenient as a conference-goer.

    Good luck with your decision!
