Will be staying at AOM 2/21 I understand I’m paying for parking at the hotel. Not clear if each time I drive off hotel property and return is there a parking fee. Also will the sky lift be working 2/21-26 is parking at Disney springs free

Hello and welcome to planDisney, MJ. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chit-chat about a few of your questions before your upcoming trip. It's in just about a month's time, I bet you are getting so excited! The countdown is officially on.

MJ, while you are staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort you will be charged a per night parking fee of around $15.00 (keep in mind this is subject to change at any time without notice). This gives you in and out privileges for the length of your stay as many times as you'd like. As an on property Guest, MJ, if you'd like to drive yourself to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you will receive complimentary parking there. I personally like driving myself around the Disney Resort so this is an added perk. What you'll do is pull up to the parking attendant booths, they'll scan your MagicBand of Keys to the World card and then be directed on where to park. I think you'll be happy to know that parking at Disney Springs is also free for all who visit. There are three different parking garages to choose from but I find that the orange and lime garages are the most convenient to park in.

MJ, while you are staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the Disney Skyliner should be up and running. The maintenance being performed on it is scheduled to be done in just a few days from now. Pending everything goes as planned, I don't see any reason why you won't be able to enjoy a ride high in the sky. The Disney Skyliner connects Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You can also get to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT via the Disney Skyliner. It's such a fun way of getting around.

I hope this helps, MJ. If you have any other questions before you go, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
