We are staying at AoA 3/16-18/13 w/our 9 and 6 yr old girls, along w/ our 5 month old. Would you recommend using the Magical Express or our own car? We have dining @t DD Sat, breakfast @ Cape May, then MK on Sun, and breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare on Mon.

Hello, Amy!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am a big fan of Disney's Transportation System (buses).  The service they provide is very reliable and, while I am on vacation, I certainly enjoy letting someone else do the driving.  However, my husband and I always stick to the same rules when it comes to traveling to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and other Disney Resorts.  Generally, if we have dining reservations at a Disney Resort, we tend to drive our own car. We can get there quickly and not have to deal with transferring from bus to bus just to make it to a certain restaurant. Now if you are dining in one of the parks, I highly recommend using the buses.  However, you mentioned that you were dining at a restaurant located in the Downtown Disney area and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Here is where my "generally" comes to play.  You can have a bus take you directly to Downtown Disney with no bus to bus transfers.  In this case, sit back and enjoy your bus journey.  Now if you plan to spend the day at the Magic Kingdom on the day you are eating at 1900 Park Fare, I would just take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and hop on Disney's Monorail System.  It is a short walk from the bus to the monorail and you simply must ride the Disney Monorail System at least once on your visit.  It is a classic! The monorail will make a stop at the Grand Floridian.
