We are staying at AOA starting Feb 2. We have a little mermaid room. I have called and told them that my aunt and i both have mobility issues and asked to be as close to the bus as possible. I know that no LM rooms are close but how far is the closest?

    Hey Kristi!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

You are going to love the whimsical theme of Disney's Art of Animation resort especially when you go under the sea in the Little Mermaid section.

The walking time from the Little Mermaid section through the Lion King section to Animation Hall will take approximately 5-7 minutes. You can consult a map of Disney's Art of Animation resort to give you a better idea of the distance.

Also, please check out the services offered to guests with mobility issues. There are a myriad of accommodations available to make your Walt Disney World vacation the most magical vacation ever.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
