Hi Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Oh how exciting that you're bringing baby to meet Mickey! My son first visited Walt Disney World Resort when he was 14 months old, and I also just got back from a 'Best Friends' trip where four moms brought our collective five children, all of whom are under three, so I'm freshly prepped on this topic.
Cribs and playpens requested from Disney Resort Hotels will come with a mattress and a crib sheet. You're absolutely welcome to request multiple crib sheets be left with you in the room should any kind of accident occur during the night, but generally you get one sheet per night. It will be replaced during your stay should you strip it from the bed and leave it draped over the rail or on the floor next to the crib. But definitely bring any special lovie, blanket, sound machine or sleep sack that your little one needs to get through the night.
Having mommed a little at Disney so many times, here are my best tips for a stress-free visit:
~Definitely stop by the
Baby Care Centers in each of Disney's four theme parks for a spacious place to change a diaper, but also to find emergency baby supplies that you might have forgotten.
~Pack disposable diaper sacks or old plastic grocery bags to contain stinky diapers until room service collects your trash.
~Always keep a pack of baby wipes in easy reach at all times - they are great for cleaning up all kinds of messes.
~And lastly, should you realize that you forgot something vital, you can have necessities
delivered to your Disney Resort Hotel for a small fee of $5 per package.
We'll See You Real Soon, Sarah!
