    We will be staying at AOA and I want to make a reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickey's. How long of a bus ride is it from AOA to MK? We thought it would be quicker to just walk to Chef Mickey's from MK.

     Julie, I'm so excited to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. You are sure to have a magical stay!

     Chef Mickey's is a must-do for my family when we're vacationing. We love the delicious food and the fabulous company of the "Fab Five!" We had a dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's this past summer while we were staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The bus ride from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Magic Kingdom Park was about 20 minutes. We then walked from the bus depot to Disney's Contemporary Resort which took us another 10-15 minutes. The walk took us a little longer than we expected it to because we had to walk around the entire bus depot to get to the path between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort. A good rule of thumb is to allow 60-75 minutes for travel time around the Walt Disney World Resort, just to be safe.

     Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your arrival. It really IS magic at your fingertips! One of my favorite things about the app is the convenient bus time feature which gives up-to-the-minute estimates for when the next bus will be departing from your Resort hotel. This handy tool saved us some valuable time during our last stay!
