Staying at AOA. Purchased one day park hopper with our reservation, and getting military 4 day pass. What is the best way to get to SOG from AOA & can we link our magic bands to the military hopper passes? Love this panel, thanks for all of your hel

    Denise:

First, you can absolutely link your military tickets to your room reservation at Art of Animation. Simply go to your MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE account at www.disneyworld.com and scroll down to PLAN AND MANAGE/My Tickets and Reservations and click on the button that says "Link Tickets" under the "Tickets and Passes" heading. Just follow the instructions by entering the ticket number from the back of each of your "exchange certificates" or under the barcode of your ticket voucher if you received one of those instead of the green ticket-like exchange certificates from your MWR office.

The only direct transportation from Art of Animation to Shades of Green is by taxi which can be arranged by the front desk of AOA. You can also ask the front desk if they would provide complementary transportation to SOG but limit your expectations. SOG is not a Disney-run resort, but my thought is that if you don't ask, it's an automatic 'no.' Another option for free transportation is to take the bus from AOA to Hollywood Studios and then transfer to the bus headed to Shades of Green.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
