We are staying at AOA. We have a Ohana breakfast at 7:30am. We were told to take the Bus to MK and then hop on the monorail to Ohana but MK doesn't open till 8:30am. How does that work?

Hi Joni! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

While my family loves riding the Walt Disney World Monorail system, I think in this case, you wouldn't make your coveted dining reservation at Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The Walt Disney World Bus Service is a convenient way to get back and forth from the parks, but service between the Disney Resort hotels and theme parks begins 45 minutes before the park opening. Early Entry at Magic Kingdom is at 8:30 AM Eastern Time. That's not enough time to get to your Character Dining Experience even without factoring in hopping on the Monorail.

Instead, I suggest you use a rideshare or Disney Minnie Van Service to get you directly from your Disney Resort hotel to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. If you have little ones along, Disney Minnie Van Service vehicles come equipped with car seats, which is a real plus for traveling families. We love to dine throughout the parks and Disney Resort hotels, and we utilize this service to get us where we want to go quickly and in comfort.

Drop by the Pineapple Lanai while you're at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to enjoy DOLE Whip outside the parks! My son's first DOLE Whip was at this convenient Quick Service location. I've got the pictures to commemorate that important moment.

    Have a magical time!
