We are staying at AoA and do not want to ride the Skyliner to Epcot (Heights). Is there a way to ride a bus to Epcot? We like the entrance of the park. I know there are car services and we can drive, just the bus is a preference. Thank you!

    Hey there, Melissa!

Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds like you're counting down the last few days before your exciting trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth - oh boy! You've come to the right place for advice on getting around the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm here to help you understand your transportation options during your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

Melissa, in just a few days, you'll be checking in at my family's favorite Value Resort hotel on property. Disney's Art of Animation Resort boasts vibrant and cheerful theming and a splash-tastic Finding Nemo-themed feature pool! To be honest, I was hesitant about taking flight aboard the Disney Skyliner at first, Melissa. (I, too, am not a fan of heights!) However, once I gave it a try, it quickly became one of my favorite forms of Resort transportation. Unfortunately, bus service is only offered as a mode of transportation between Disney's Art of Animation Resort and EPCOT in windy or rainy conditions. However, you do have a couple of other options available to you as well:
    • Third-party rideshare services offer a quick, convenient, and cost-effective way to reach destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort as well as surrounding areas.
    • Minnie Van service, powered by the Lyft app, is a paid personal ride service that Guests can reserve to whisk them between locations inside the Walt Disney World Resort.
Alternatively, as you mentioned, if you'll have a personal vehicle on-site, you're welcome to drive to and park at the theme parks. As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you'll enjoy free standard parking at all four theme parks throughout your stay!

Melissa, I hope these details help you prepare for your fast-approaching trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Feel free to revisit us here at planDisney with any more planning questions you might have ahead of your visit! We're here to help you make magical vacation memories.

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
