Hello! We are staying at AoA in the Little Mermaid room. Was wondering if bed rails are available as my son moves a lot at night. If yes, please let me know how I can request one. 20 more days :) Thanks so much for your help.

Hi there, Sonia! It's nice to chat with you again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My 5-year-old son is an active sleeper too, so we always request bed rails for him when we travel. All of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels do have bed rails available. We've usually just asked for them at the front desk during check-in and had them delivered to our room, but if you want to be absolutely sure they don't run out, you could always call ahead to Guest Services and have it noted on your reservation. The rails are very easy to install, with feet that slip right under the mattress to allow your son a safe night's sleep.

You're just a few days away now, Sonia! Here's wishing that all of your family's Disney dreams come true!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
