Hi Rob, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad you stopped by to see us with another question AND I’m thrilled that you will be at
Walt Disney World again in only a few sleeps!
My family stayed in a
The Little Mermaid Standard Room last spring, and we really loved our room and the whole resort. There are so many wonderful Disney details everywhere, and it felt like we were walking through our favorite Disney and Pixar movies every day. Pure magic!
A Cast Member at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort just confirmed to me that there are not USB-compatible outlets in the rooms at this resort. My family travels with several devices, and we have no trouble packing the USB plugs along with the charging cords – we usually stash it all in one zippered pouch, which we stuff in the room safe along with our devices when we’re out having fun. Don’t forget to bring your external battery for your longer theme park days!
Rob, I hope you and your family have so much fun flipping your fins with Ariel and her friends in your The Little Mermaid room. Don’t miss the amazing lobby area, where you can see characters progress from concept art to the fully realized, animated forms we know and love, and maybe even see an animator at work. My fellow Panelist Jason shared a
fantastic tip about taking art classes at this resort, which would be such a special experience. Have a blast being “part of that world” at this enchanting resort!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
