Jambo, Kaitlyn!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your journey to the Pride Lands. Just like Simba was excited to be king, I bet you just can't wait for your September getaway. Let's get going!
Currently,
Walt Disney World Resorts do not offer cots or rollaway beds to Guests. I completely understand adults preferring their sleeping spaces, so I recommend bringing or purchasing a twin-size air mattress; it can fit nicely in the main bedroom or living area. You can buy one online and have it shipped to
Disney's Art of Animation Resort a day or two before you check-in (be sure to put the lead Guest's name and reservation number in the shipping information) or head to a local Target or Walmart upon arrival. If you don't have a rental car, hire a ride share service to take you to the nearest retailer. If this sounds like a hassle, I promise you it's as easy as Timon and Pumbaa rustling up some grub from the jungle. The closest Walmart is only ten minutes away from your hotel. While there, grab some groceries to stock your en suite kitchenette! My family likes to bring bottled water, soda, breakfast items, and snacks.
I hope this is helpful, Kaitlyn, and that your entire pride has a fantastic time on your upcoming adventure. September will be here faster than Simba can pounce on an unsuspecting Zazu, so if there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make your trip even more magical, please reach out. Thanks again for visiting us, and we'll see ya real soon!
Hakuna matata,
Betsy
