    Staying at the AOA in June. Do their washers and dryers take quarters or can you use debit/credit cards? Thanks

    Hey Katrina-

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Last summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort we stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.  What an amazing time! Superb theming over in the Cars, Lion King and Nemo Family Suite areas as well at The Little Mermaid buildings. The Big Blue Pool is not to be missed. We even spent an afternoon under the watch of Sebastian at the Flippin’ Fins Pool.

    Everyone needs clean clothing and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offers three Guest Laundry Service locations. They are all inside the small buildings near the pools: Flippin’ Fins Pool, Cozy Cone Pool and the Big Blue Pool. There is laundry soap in a vending machine which costs $1.00. Each load of laundry is $2.00-2.50 to wash and $2.00-2.50 to dry. Drying your clothes may take more than one cycle. The Guest Laundry is open 24 hours a day for daytime warriors and night owls alike. With recent upgrades to the Guest Laundry, these facilities accepts coins and/or credit cards. I would bring a roll of quarters just in case there is an issue with the credit card machine.
