We will be staying at AoA in January with our 3 little ones. We plan on having a few drinks once the littles are sleeping. How do you get beer/wine delivered to a resort room? I know garden grocer will deliver but will a bellhop accept the alcohol too?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristin!

You and your family will just love Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! Did you know that you can hear music and even some of your favorite Disney Characters underneath the water in The Big Blue Pool? How great is that!?

My husband and I also enjoy a few drinks once the kids are in bed and we have always either used Garden Grocer, as you have mentioned, or even just go to the Disney Resort gift shop and purchase a few beers or a bottle of wine as we never really know how many we will actually have time to drink! Once, we ordered WAY too much and ended up gifting it to a very happy (and surprised) family on our way home! To answer the second part of your question, yes- Disney Resort hotels also accept alcohol as I believe most delivery locations require a copy of your proof of age in order to deliver it. Be aware, however that there may be a fee associated with Disney Resort hotel delivery in addition to any outside fees from the vendor.

I hope this answers your question and allows you and your husband to enjoy a few relaxing beverages to unwind after a busy day of play in a Disney Theme Park! Remember to come back and visit us again soon!
