We are staying at AoA and would like to go to the Chip and Dale Sing along at Disney Campground. Is taking the boat from MK the best way? Where at the campground do we go for this then? Walking distance? I heard it is being offered again July 6th

Hi Connie! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of the best Disney-themed resorts at Walt Disney World. Each section is themed after a classic Disney movie and features some of your favorite characters. The Cars land is one of my favorites and transports you into the storytelling. This resort has also become a great location with the addition of the Disney Skyliner. You can now hop on it each day to head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or a host of other Disney Resorts.

You are absolutely correct! Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long has returned to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on July 6th. This complimentary event takes place nightly (weather depending) and is one of the most fun things to do in all of Walt Disney World. Chip 'n' Dale are such fun characters and their interactions with Guests are worth the trip over here. You can also purchase a s’mores kit or bring your own marshmallows to roast on the fire.

To get here, you'll need to take a boat from the Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The sing-a-long takes place at the Meadow Trading Post area of the campground, which is somewhat central to the entire resort. From the boat launch, you can either take a leisurely walk, which takes about 10 minutes or use the internal bus loop to get you to your location. You'll need to get off at Bus Stop 1500, which sits next to the campfire area.

If you have any extra time while you are there, stop by the Tri-Circle-D Ranch located not far from the boat launch. There are stables you can walk through to see some of the horses that they have onsite. The Ranch is beautiful and the perfect change of pace activity from a busy park day.

Connie, I hope you have an amazing visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Stop back to see me any time at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
