Staying 9/15-21 @ AOA. My DD4 loves Jake and the Pirates so we made res. for Pirates and Pals on an evening after having ADR Bfast with Jake and staying at HS for the day. Any suggestions for getting in downtime and dinner before the cruise? Thanks!

    Hi Jamie!!!

My four year old also loves Jake and the Never Land Pirates!!  I recently did both the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage and they are both awesome!!!  The look on my son's face when he saw Jake at the breakfast was priceless!!!

I would suggest heading back to Disney's Art of Animation Resort around 2:00pm or 3:00pm to rest and relax before your awesome Fireworks Voyage that evening.  Since Wishes starts at 9:00pm, the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage should be scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.  I would be at the Art of Animation Bus Stop to catch the Magic Kingdom bus around 6:00pm.  Once you get to the Magic Kingdom you can either walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort or take the Resort Monorail one stop to the Contemporary.  I would recommend eating at the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort for dinner.  This is a quick-service restaurant that has a wide variety of food offerings.  I love the Flatbread Pizza they have!!!  Once you are done eating, you can head down for the start of your voyage and have lots of snacks and dessert!!!

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help answer!!

    Have a very magical trip!!
