We are staying at AoA (Cars). How much time do we need to allow to get to a character bfast #1) if its inside a park #2 at another resort? Although kids like to eat early (7:30-8), if we have to wake them up too early to get there, they may be unhappy.

    Hi Susan,

There is a fantastic transportation wizard tool which I like to use available at www.ourlaughingplace.com.

It allows you to enter where you will be travelling to and from within Walt Disney World and then provides details on the best route(s) to take as well as giving an indication of the amount of time that the journey will take. I would add an extra 20 minutes onto each estimated time to allow for the time which may be spent waiting for your designated mode of transport to arrive.

Officially, Disney's complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time. If there are morning Extra Magic Hours this will be one hour prior to the start of the Extra Magic Hours.

My family have never experienced any problems at all in using Disney's complimentary transportation to get us to early morning dining reservations. I would suggest that you speak to a Cast Member at Guest Services when you arrive at your Resort hotel to confirm that the complimentary Disney buses will be operating early enough to get you to your dining reservations on time.

As a rule, I would recommend that you allow at least an hour when travelling from one place to another using Disney's complimentary transportation system.

I hope that this helps with your planning and wish you a magical trip!
