Staying at AoA. Have 9 am breakfast at Ohana on departure day. Forgot about 11 am checkout. Should I try to get an earlier reservation, or would we make it back to AoA in time for checkout with a taxi? Really don't want to check out before breakfast!

    Hi Alice!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  Unfortunately, I can't answer your question because I don't know how long it will take you to get ready for check-out.  However, I can tell you that most guests with a 9am breakfast reservation at Ohana will be finished with breakfast by 10am.  Then you can catch a taxi from the Polynesian back to Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  I would plan on 20 minutes to get a taxi and then to make the drive to your resort.

You can also request a late check-out from your resort, but there's no guarantee Disney will be able to do it.  You won't know until the night before; I suggest you don't plan on it.

Good luck with your decision, and write back with more questions!
