We are staying at AOA, and added a photopass+ onto our vacation. Checking in early, and heading straight to DH, where can I get it activated first thing, so I can make sure to use it to the fullest? Also, any special spots for pics you recommend?

    Hi Tabitha,

From your question, I am assuming that you will be heading over to Disney's Hollywood Studios on your day of arrival.  To exchange your voucher for your PhotoPass+ card and lanyard, as soon as you arrive at the theme park, you will find a photography shop on Hollywood Boulevard.  It is the second shop on the right!

I was really excited reading your question, because I am one of "those" moms who attempts to capture every moment, and I can never have enough photos!  At Disney's Hollywood Studios we always make sure to get a photo just to the left of the Sorcerer's Hat.  There is a Hollywood Studios sign that lights up and is a wonderful backdrop for pictures.  In the Magic Kingdom, I love getting a photo just in front of the Rose Garden.  It allows for a beautiful picture with the Cinderella Castle in the background, minus the crowds.  In Disney's Animal Kingdom, we love getting photos taken in the Tree of Life Garden, right at base of the Tree Of Life.  Here we get beautiful shots of the tree, again without the crowds.  The PhotoPass Photographer will often take some magic shots here.  As for EPCOT, we always get as many photos as we can "Around the World". I love the bridge between the United Kingdom and France, you will have the Eiffel Tower as your backdrop!

I would also suggest to ask the photographers if they are able to take any magic shots.  Disney PhotoPass Photographers will instruct you to pose in a specific way, and when you see your photo, a little Disney Magic will appear!

I'm afraid I am out of space Tabitha.  If you would like some more ideas for great photo opportunities, or if you have any other questions, please send me another question.  I would love to share some more fabulous spots around Walt Disney World Resort for pictures.
