Hiya Lisa - welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question for our team of panelists today. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
First, let me just say that you've already made some fantastic planning decisions!
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is such a fun and unique place to call home during your vacation, and what trip would be complete without visiting
Chef Mickey and his pals at
Disney's Contemporary Resort?!
Lisa, parking at Disney's Contemporary Resort is available for you to utilize for up to three hours during your dining reservation. Parking is otherwise limited to overnight Guests of the Resort. If you can work around that, great! If not, you may want to consider alternative transportation plans. When I use a personal vehicle at Walt Disney World Resort, I usually try to start my day by parking at the location I plan to
end my day at. While it might take a bit of extra time in the morning, I always thank my "morning self" when my vehicle is right where I need it to be at the end of a very long day in the parks!
Depending on the timing of your reservation, you might want to consider parking at EPCOT, and then taking the Monorail to the Contemporary. You could also park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (the parking area for Magic Kingdom Park) which would give you convenient Monorail access to both Chef Mickey's and EPCOT. You could also consider the
Minnie Van Service, available for an additional fee, and let a Cast Member take care of the driving for you in the morning! If you're ending your day at EPCOT, you could then take the Skyliner back to your Resort and not deal with a vehicle at all!
I hope this information is helpful, Lisa - stop by with more questions any time!
