We will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas but were thinking of doing the 8:15p Dinner show at the Polynesian on a night that the MK closes at 7p. Are there Disney Transport options to return to our resort?

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I attended Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show last year with my family and some of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists and their families.  We had such a fun time!

My guess is that if you are seeing a closing time at Magic Kingdom Park of 7:00 p.m. on a given night, it likely means that there is a party that night - depending on the time of year that you are visiting, that would be either Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  On these nights, Magic Kingdom Park closes for general admission at 7:00 p.m.  After this guests need a separate ticket for the party to enter the park; however, the buses will still run late into the evening for guests attending the party.  You should be able to catch the monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and then the bus back to your resort from there.  Another possibility directly from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort would be to take a bus to Downtown Disney, and from there catch the bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village or Jambo House.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kelly!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
