    We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Resort and am wondering if the transportation is going to be difficult from there or if we should rent a car. What is transport. hub? Will we be able to get to parks by opening time?

    Hi Jennifer,

     

    You will love staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge!  The theming of the resort is fantastic and so beautiful.  It is such a treat to be able to see animals grazing right outside your window or the resort!  Be sure to spend some time around the Lodge.  There is so much to do and see.  We never rent a car when traveling to Walt Disney World.  The bus transportation system works amazingly well.   You will be picked up right in front of the Lodge.  The bus will then pick up guests at Kidani Village and then you will head to the specific park on the front of the bus.  There is no transportation hub when being transported between the theme parks, water parks, or Downtown Disney.  The bus system will start running about an hour before the park opens (usually 8 am unless there are Extra Magic Hours and then it will be 7am)  so you will be there in time!  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you again, Jennifer.  Have a magical vacation!!
