We are staying a Animal Kingdom resort for a week in April. My kids are always hungry when they wake up-they'll want to eat asap!. I see there's a fridge in our room.We are not renting a car. What's your best suggestion to get breakfast stuff to our room?

The Animal Kingdom resort's store will offer basic grocery needs including milk, cereal, breakfast bars, etc. In addition, you can purchase fruit and other options in The Mara (food court) before you go to bed. My husband often runs out in the morning for his coffee and will pick up breakfast items to bring back to our room.

You may want to order some staples from www.gardengrocer.com as they'll deliver your groceries to your room.

Consider also packing some simple foods in your bags. We often bring granola bars, crackers, etc. to ward off low blood sugar spells. We then have some empty space for our souvenirs.

There will be a fridge in your room but keep in mind that it is a "dorm-size" appliance.

    Wishing you magical mornings!
