I am staying in the Animal Kingdom for 2 nights is the last day (check out day) still considered part of your ADRs when your making reservations. technically day 3 when your 60 day windows opens up for day 1

Hakuna Matata, Jeffrey and welcome to planDisney where we love to help guests stay worry-free on their vacations.

Jeffrey, with its awe-inspiring lobby and savanna full of exotic friends, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a destination all by itself! I hope you love your stay. Make sure to carve out some time to chat with the Cast Members stationed outside. They are a wealth of knowledge and my kids learned so much about the resident animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Now, anytime my family and I are getting ready for a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth, dining is always at the forefront of my planning. For the purposes of making reservations, as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, you can make reservations for all three days of your vacation, 60 days in advance of your check-in day. Dining reservations can open up as early as 5:45 AM (but some not until 6:00 AM), so I like to set my coffee pot to auto brew and wake up early in the hopes I can snag our desired dates and times. Jeffrey, your last day IS included in your stay for the purposes of making advanced dining reservations.

If you are planning on enjoying any character dining meals, I would try to book those first as they are popular and fill up quickly. Dining reservations do not need to be made in any order, so I encourage you to book character dining first. My family and I also like to leverage our location and test out some restaurants at our resort. Sanaa, located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a great choice with up-close views of the savanna and an Indian-style Bread Service that is mouthwatering.

Sometimes during more popular times of the year, you'll see limited availability for dining. In this case, I always recommend guests continue to check availability through your My Disney Experience Mobile App, especially in the week and days leading up to check-in. Often plans will change and I have had great luck with last-minute reservations.

If you have any additional questions, I hope you'll come on back to planDisney. Just like Zazu, Mufasa's trusty advisor, we live to serve!
