We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village. As DVC members, do we get any special perks?? What do I need to know about the resort (for members of the DVC and nonmembers) to get the full experience and enjoyment?

Hi Jessica! You will receive a Portable Perks Guide when you arrive "Home" in your Welcome Home Packet. It is a wonderful resource with listings of all the Perks available to Disney Vacation Club Members for Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Resort hotels and Downtown Disney. Perks range from discounts on Dining, Entertainment, Recreational Activities and Shopping.

As a Disney Vacation Club member, our Disney Vacation Club member website is our most valuable resource; www.dvcmember.com offers another opportunity to view member Perks while at Walt Disney World Resort and more. There is also detailed information about each Disney Vacation Club Resort, including Villa floor plans, points charts, and amenities.

I think the most important thing to know, as a Disney Vacation Club member or a non-member, is the importance of enjoying your Resort hotel. This means planning time to leave unplanned time for Resort activities and unique experiences that each Resort hotel has to offer. Especially at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, it is very nice to have time to sit and enjoy the African Storytelling, have family fun time in the pool, trade pins with King Pin, watch animals with Night Vision Goggles, and learn without realizing that you are learning, LOL!

How often do you have the opportunity to relax in an African savanna? The answer is as often as you like because you are a Disney Vacation Club member. Welcome Home!
