I am staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 1 week. We bought 4 pass base ticket to theme park. Can we have acess to Animal kingdom theme park at check in on the first day without using our tickets because we are staying at the animal kingdom lodge?

    Hello, Vicky,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I just returned from an extended weekend spent at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It is such an incredible resort with so many things to do, explore, and enjoy.  I suspect you will fall in love with resort as much as I did!

If you choose to go the Animal Kingdom on your arrival day, it will count as one of your days on your ticket.  If you'd rather not use a day from your theme park tickets, Disney Springs is a great option with all the shopping, dining, and entertainment.  Also, your resort will have many activities happening throughout the day such as animal programs, wildlife discoveries, cultural immersions, culinary exploration, and poolside activities.  With so many things to choose from, you may feel as if you are at a theme park!

Wishing you a magical trip.  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
