We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge for our trip Dec/08. I have read that it has a zero entry pool. What is that exactly? Also is there a water slide for my two princesses to use? Thanks Susan from PE

    Hello Susan,

Great resort choice for your holidays, you're two princesses will surely have a wonderful time at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The Uzima Springs pool has a "Zero-Depth Entry" which means that there is an entrance where there are no steps (entrance is in concrete and goes right into the pool like a ramp!).  This is also a very large pool at over 11,000 square feet!  There also happens to be a super cool 67 foot slide and a kiddie wading pool area.  There are so many activities available for children at this resort, just ask for a list from the front desk reservations agent who checks you in.  You're princesses will also have the choice of a really neat playground called "Hakuna Matata" to play on and is located next to the pool.  All in all, I think you will have a smashing time and don't forget to ask about the night vision goggles to view the animals with, this is one of the "must do's" when staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

    Best wishes,
