We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Thank you for for earlier response regarding the "complimentary Disney transportation system at this website". However have you speciific destinations/times of buses that run from AK Lodge?

    Hi Alan!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

From Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort the buses run approximately every 20 minutes to the four theme parks and water parks and Downtown Disney.  If you wish to travel to another Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will have to take a bus to one of three places - Downtown Disney; Ticket & Transportation Centre; or one of the theme parks, then from there you can transfer to another bus for any Disney resort hotel.

As a general rule it is recommended to allow approximately 60 minutes to travel by bus from your resort to a theme park, and 60-90 minutes from one resort to another.  This is not just the time spent on the bus, but also walking from your room to the bus stop, waiting times, and walking to your destination once you have arrived.  This is useful to know when you need to arrive at a specific time - perhaps for a dining reservation.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
