    We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We are planning a daytrip to SeaWorld Orlando. We have two daughters (ages 4 and 2). Is there a shuttle that we can catch. Do taxis have child seats? Should we just rent a car?

    I can tell your family loves animals! Staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge will be exciting for you.

    Getting to Sea World can be a bit of a dilemma.  There are no shuttles from Disney World so the option is a taxi or renting a car.  Since you would only need a rental car for that one trip it is not very economical to go that route. Taxis will run you around $60 one way and they do not automatically have car seats for your child.  I have in the past requested van taxis and many times those had one sitting in the far back if needed.  If you opt for this mode of transportation then have your valet request a cab with a car seat for your age child.  The wait time for a cab might be a bit longer so be prepared.  Florida law does not require taxis to have children in car seats but as a grandmother I understand your concern and would not want to risk having my grandsons in a car for that long of a trip without proper security.
