Giraffes at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

    Hello, we are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and plan to go to Animal Kingdom on Oct. 13 for early entry at 7:30am. What time does the Disney bus start that day and will the bus get us there by 7:15 to get in line for early entry?

    Welcome to planDisney.

    I'm happy to see that your vacation is just around the corner, and I have good news for you!  All Disney Transport, including the bus service, operates around 45 minutes before park opening times (up until an hour after closing).  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is so close to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park (no more than 10 minutes away) that you will have plenty of time.  I would recommend you wait at the bus stop close to 6.30 am so you are ready to board one of the first buses. They tend to run every 20 minutes or so.

    Answering this question has reminded me that I need to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom on my next trip!  There are so many amazing attractions including Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Avatar Flight of Passage, and my must-do is Kilimanjaro Safaris which is different every time!  I also love Festival of the Lion King - it's such a fun show (and a chance to cool down for 30 minutes).  Factor in the Na'vi River Journey for a ride through the bioluminescent rainforest and your day is already made!  

    If you are making Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections for the day, the attractions are all listed in a single group, so you don't have to choose from different groups, as for the other 3 theme parks; you can just choose whichever 3 attractions you like from:
    DINOSAUR
    Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
    Feathered Friends in Flight!
    Festival of the Lion King
    Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!
    It’s Tough to Be a Bug!
    Kali River Rapids
    Kilimanjaro Safaris
    NaŹ»vi River Journey

    Avatar Flight of Passage is the only attraction available for a Lightning Lane Single Pass.  

    I also recommend Nomad Lounge (just before you cross the bridge into Pandora - The World of Avatar) for my favourite churros at Walt Disney World!, and lots of other goodies too - here's the menu.
